Saakshi Philip is a rising junior in high school who loves to read, write, paint, and of course, binge watch shows on Netflix. She's originally from India and loves New York City. She is passionate about subjects that she calls the 3 Es: Economics, Environmental Science and English, and hopes to publish novels in the future while advocating for the environment.

Megha is a rising high school junior and loves to creatively write. She likes to write about themes centered on diversity and Indian culture. She also participates in activism and fights for social justice. Megha hopes that POVofPOC can become a successful platform for issues dealing with people of color!

Tanya Rawal is a rising junior in high school who enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends. Social media has always been a big part of her life as she loves interacting with others through different platforms. She believes that social media is a wonderful place to spread important messages due to the wide audience and range it provides.

Ryana is a rising junior in high school who has lived in Bangalore, Vermont, New Jersey and New York. As a first-generation Indian-American, she is passionate about giving minorities a platform to speak their truth. Ryana loves biology, swimming, mochi ice cream, and learning random things like crocheting and beatboxing in her free time.

Maylea is a first generation Hmong-American and the eldest daughter in her family. She enjoys art, writing and attending musical festivals. Maylea is passionate about poster design and mixed media art with an emphasis on cultural awareness, women's empowerment and environmental sustainability.

If Deeksha isn't drawing, she's either taking a nap or trying not to burn the house down by baking. When she is drawing however, she loves experimenting with different art mediums, her top picks being watercolor and gouache. Along with carrying a deep interest for art, Deeksha also spends her time collecting copious amounts of stickers and K-pop albums.
